Aaron Stander spent many decades in the Metro Detroit area, where he taught college English and trained writing teachers. After retiring, he and his wife moved to their cottage at the end of a two-track in the woods of northern Michigan. In the last dozen years, Aaron has published 11 murder mysteries largely set in northern Michigan. He is also the author of numerous reviews and the longtime host/producer of Michigan Writers on the Air  on Interlochen Public Radio.
